Our Views

“I am Sima Taparia from Mumbai” is an overused phrase in the whole series. It seemed like the concept of arranged marriage is aggressively sold. The urban, educated and upper class clients with their demands. Sima picks up all the ‘picky’ and ‘ demanding’ singles.

It definitely seems reeled and documented.  To watch till the ninth episode is very long and also tiresome. In the case of arranged marriage, the whole journey of marriage carries a whole lot of baggage for both the families and the couple about to get married and a lot of tension is going from when the marriage. We tend to develop a love-hate relationship for this show due to many reasons.

” I think she should change her talking pattern also”

For instance, we love this show as it shows the true demands and problems faced by the singles and the demands which are far too important to be compromised. And we also hate this show as sometimes the clients are so stubborn and act weirdly.

Many clients are who themselves are very desperate (if i may use that word) to get married due to their increasing age and sometimes under the pressure from their parents. Sima seems like an independent woman who does her work with a lot of dedication.

There are also sweet moments in every episode where a couple shares sweet moments of how they met and talk about their partner and it is heartwarming to watch.  There are many problematic bits in the show, it will leave a smile on your face.
